World Family Trip

There are two of us Katie (39) and David (37) and two of them Aidan (8) and Grace (2). Together, we are leaving London behind for a world family trip of a lifetime. Eleven months across at least ten countries, spanning four continents, we are pushing our boundaries, leaping out of our comfort zone to experience the ordinary and the extraordinary as a family on the road.

Our flights are booked but our bags are far from packed… Please join us, support us, in the run up to this trip of a lifetime.

This is me, Katie. I work as a Product Director in London. In my spare time, which is quasi in-existent, I volunteer at my son's school as a governor, I swim and I spin. My background is in journalism and I am looking forward to writing again, sharing this trip of a lifetime with you guys. 

Hey. I am David. I am French and work as Senior Manager, Artist & Label Services for Juno Download. with responsibility to develop, maintain relationships with artist, management and label.  With a Geography background, I'm passionate about maps in all form. 

My name is Aidan and I am 8. I am football crazy. Favourite team: Manchester City (clue in the photo). I go to Alexandra Primary School in Wood Green, London. I am in Year 4. I play for Tottenhall football club. 

I am Grace. I am 2 and a half. I might be the smallest of the family but I make up for it with my BIG personality. Some people call me bossy but mummy says I am just practising my leadership skills. I love my dolls, my books, climbing on anything, including dad.
